Gothenburg & Co is owned by the City of Gothenburg through Goteborg Stadhus AB and is part of the city’s Tourism, Culture and Events cluster. The company’s mission is to market and support the development of Gothenburg as a city for tourism, events and meetings, in broad collaboration with other stakeholders.

Sustainable development in general and inclusion, in particular, are core values of the organization and we, therefore, welcome the opportunity to work in collaboration with the FESTSPACE project to better understand how to enable the integration of diverse communities into our public spaces through festivals or events.

The FESTSPACE project aligns with Gothenburg & Co’s ambition to raise awareness and to build knowledge around the notion of the use of public spaces for events and festivals as a strategy for a more inclusive society.
